    Caribbean Baptist Youth Elect New President-Deno Cartwright



    Deno V. Cartwright, MBA, JP, is the new President of the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship Department. Cartwright, born in Nassau, Bahamas and a banker by profession, currently serves as an Associate Minister with responsibility for Youth and Special Projects at the New Bethany Baptist Cathedral in Nassau, Bahamas and Youth Director of the National Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention. Prior to his election to the presidency of the CBF Youth Department at the 11th CBF Youth Festival held in Trinidad and Tobago from July 19-23, 2017 guided by the theme: “Stand Up for Jesus,” Cartwright served as a Vice President.


    The festival attracted over four hundred (400) attendees with approximately two hundred (200) regional participants from nine (9) Caribbean countries and the diaspora and two hundred (200) local participants. The countries represented were Barbados, Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Jamaica, Guyana, USA, and Trinidad and Tobago. 


    Cartwright succeeded Mrs. Jody Guerero – McKenna from Trinidad and Tobago who gave outstanding service and servant leadership during her tenure.
