This committee shall carry out the following responsibilities:

1. Effect research into the need for and availability of theological education among Member Bodies of the CBF and report finding to the CBF.
2. Through conferences, seminars and/or the print and electronic media, provide educational and training opportunities and materials for pastors, church workers and other interested persons in areas of theology and ministry for which a need is judged to exist.
3. Keep the CBF constituency informed of new approaches to and trends in ministry from which they can benefit or of which they need to be aware.
